I subscribe to audible, the monthly "audiobook" download site, and just realized Mr. Lee has several things he's read available, abridged versions of "Dracula" "Frankenstein" & "The Phantom of the Opera," as well as several unabridged Agatha Christie short stories and one J.R.R. Tolkien book as well. While "Dracula" is abridged, it's like a good movie, with Lee playing the parts and providing atmosphere just by, you know, opening...

Yesterday I heard an announcement that Christopher Lee will be a guest on Spanish TV show 'El Hormiguero' next week.I hope he knows what he's in for. The host and two glove puppet ants 'good naturedly' take the piss out of the invited interviewee. The announcement of Lee's participation was accompanied by a screaming 'Christopher Lee, Dracula himself!' and a full screen image of Lee as the character with bloody fangs and scarlet eyes.

Ok, so I've never picked up a copy of THE WICKER MAN. The copy I was thinking of getting is now difficult to find -- the AB reissue of both the theatrical and director's cuts from AB:

I don't think this has been mentioned in this forum before, but Christopher Lee is back doing a Hammer film--THE RESIDENT. Apparently it's shooting in New Mexico. (Or finished there.)

Haven't seen it, but am aware of it's rep (not being very good, regardless of its pedigree). But, I'm writing because last night I watched an interview with Chris Lee about Terence Fisher, and this title came up. Lee made one statement quickly and somewhat mumbled that sounded like he said he was redubbing it shortly -- the interview was dated 2004. Anyone aware of this info? Ted...?

Check this out.� Lee at about 25 years of age, from 1947.� His voice is far more high pitched than it would be ten years later.� Almost unrecognizable, in fact. �Now, I know the voice matures, but this seems too dramatic a maturing (unless the clip is speed up a bit, altering the voice).� So, if this is Lee's voice at age 25, could it be that he had voice training to get�his voice down and more regal?

Nothing But the Night (1973), starring Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing, is showing on Encore Mystery on Sunday, 19 October, at 4.20am. It will probably be shown full frame, but it isn't available on DVD, as far as I know. I have always enjoyed it and will be recording it for my collection. The supporting cast includes Diana Dors and Michael Gambon and it is directed by Peter Sadsy.

I just wanted to take a minute to let the community know what has happened to me recently. I collect Christopher Lee as Dracula photos, I have been for years. I recently won a photo on ebay from the seller rare*images. I payed for the photo won and additional photos I picked that came to a total of 181.00. I payed for the photos with my credit card on July 30. My statement came and the money was charged. It is now 8 weeks later and nothing has arrived. I have called and gotten a song and...

Christopher Lee's Dracula cape

Here is a pic of one of the capes used in the 1968 film, Dracula Has Risen From the Grave. It looks nice, although I do not like the way it is displayed. It is displayed with Lugosi like attire and right next to the window so it will fade through the years....Photo, thank you to a Planet Hollywood employee..
