			<description><![CDATA[ <p>I had never seen the HAUNTED PALACE until this Halloween courtesy of MGM Midnite double DVD and boy did I enjoy this film Vincent Price is great as always
and Lon Chaney, Jr. does a nice job here too.   Ok this not really an Edgar Allan Poe it actually is a H.P. Lovecraft story but the film does credit Poe (as
Edgar Allen Poe) and obvious attempt to capitalize on the success of all the previous AIP/Price/Corman/Poe films.
