Rare Canadian 1973 DRACULA adaptation

Anyone ever remember seeing this **ultra rare** 1973 CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Channel) version of DRACULA starring a white-haired/Hammer-fanged Norman Welsh as Count Dracula? This was part of Canada's Purple Playhouse series which also did a version of SWEENEY TODD. I finally hooked-up with an old friend of mine (who worked with Famous Monsters mag back in the 70's!) who is sending me a dvd-r. Supposedly, it is one of THE rarest vampire movies in the world. Hardly any info about it...

Any one heard of this Canadian astral projection horror movie with Karen Black? It was directed by the guy who did MY BLOODY VALENTINE. There's an Australian DVD of it but I'm thinking its from a tape master. The original title was THE BLUE MAN but it was changed to ETERNAL EVIL and may have been cut as well.

OK, I know... I shoudn't be starting a thread without having anything particular to say. I could potentially forget to add to the thread (as I did with "Crawlspace" (1972)).

Just wanted to mention that I also purchased the complete episodes of this forgotten either 70s anthology featuring Sebastian Cabot. Will post on this later. Of course, contributions to this and the previous two empty threads that I began would be most welcome!! More later...

I purchased the complete series from a site entitled "Skaryguyvideo" or something like that. I'll post details later, once the package arrives and I have had a chance to view some of the episodes. Needless to say, I grew up watching this in syndication, and always thought John Newland was one of the great unsung masters of television horror.

Diane Lane-starring thriller about a killer using the internet to get at some victims. Hints of THE CARD PLAYER, and probably just about as good (though, I prefer TCP for many reasons). Not a good film, not bad either. Sorta forgettable in the long run. But it is worth watching for some good ol' practical special/make-up fx. Matthew Mungle, a long-time fx artist, handled these. Also included is a 5m doc on the fx. Nice to see some respect given to something so "outdated"!
