Always liked this strange thriller/giallo? with Burton and a great cast of female Euro-stars.
Kind of reminds me at times of Bava's Hatchet For The Honeymoon.
Another bonus is a fantastic soundtrack by Ennio Morricone.
There's a new dvd announced by German label PK Movies (English friendly) btw.
So far there have only been US releases on dvd: the oop US AB dvd is the one to get as the Lionsgate dvd is not so good.

Wasn't sure where to post this, but these sets are mostly Italian productions, and this thread also says exploitation.

Anyway, it was my birthday yesterday, so I went on and got Vol. 1, and Vol. 2 and Mercs sets.

I've been looking at these for a while, and after checking Amazon and Ebay got them fairly cheap.

without trying to stir up the pot I wanted to post a couple of caps from a vhs copy of L'amante del demonio with the gorgeous Rosalba Neri. If anything this just increases my anticipation for the MYA release in September. When they say this version is uncut, what exactly is intact? Anyone know?
