			<description><![CDATA[ A series of 6 Monje Loco shorts were made in the early '40s; 4 were apparently assembled into a feature film.  These featured the creator of the character (from the 1930s radio show), Salvador Carrasco.  Probably a &quot;lost&quot; film, but who knows for sure.<br><br>I have been unable to specifically date the direct-to-video &quot;Monje Loco&quot; movie (which I have), but it's probably late 1980s (EDIT: I see IMDB has 1984, for what it's worth). 			<description><![CDATA[ El Monje Loco puts in two appearances in LEYENDAS MACABRAS DE LA COLONIA.He is playing an organ and acting as a narrator of sorts to the action though why they did it is beyond me since the story is easy to follow.Perhaps the filmmakers were showing their sense of humor.Or they were trying to pad the film even more and believe me the film is padded out plenty! ]]></description>
