Interesting thread finally got around to reading it all.

Anyone know if any of the titles released in either of the TALES OF TERROR and TALES OF VOODOO Double Features ever get an official DVD release?

Excellent work, Atomic. Fascinating stuff.

The back of the ToV DVDs has some lengthy stuff about copyrights, but it appears to be chiefly standard stuff about their rights and prohibiting copying and public showings of the material.

BTW, I've not seen any new releases in this line for a while. Anyone spotted something new?

"Video Asia" was the company that released these discs. I'm getting the sneaking suspicion that they have gone kaput. They haven't released anything new kung fu-wise for the past six months or so and they don't have anything lined up. I could be wrong though. Along with the new "Terror Tales: From the Hood" (LOL!) disc, they also released two multidisc sets including "She: The Hard Way" and "Three the Hard Way...Again", the former being four female...

Fascinating.

About a week or so ago I sighted a volume 4 of the Tales of Terror series on the shelves at Best Buy. Yet they never stocked any of the other DVDs in the series. I came here to post about it, figuring there must be another wave of releases in store, but the links posted above were dead.

I decided to wait.

Now, over week later, the links still seem to be dead.

Were these fly by night releases or did the company merely change URLs?

I read "Mondo Macabro" is one of the companies effected by the release of these films. This is why I didn't want to bring these discs up or post my thoughts on them. It always comes around to the bootlegging issue.
