Nice thoughts, Luis and I'll take this to heart next Cinco de Mayo. Here in Arizona the gringos party it up alot on this day and make it an excuse to get schnockered on tequila and eat mexican food. Not a bad idea actually.

My wife makes so little ado about Cinco de Mayo and casts it off to the gringos. For her I believe it is Sept. 16th? Dia de Independencia. Mexican history is so full and interesting yet sadly my wife cares little about it with the exception of Zapata and Pancho Villa's exploits. I think she is embarrassed? What's always killed me is that some Mexican kids living on this side of the border don't even knows that it conmemorated the Battle of Puebla,in which the Mexican army defeated the supposedly invincible French Navy.I remember last year talking to a cousin and he said "Yeah Pancho Villa fought in that war!" Needless to say I don't hang out with him too much and pray that I am on the other side of the dna pool when it comes to my being genetically linked to him.
