        <![CDATA[ I rented this film from Netflix, the Criterion Collection, and really enjoyed it.  Ok, so it has cheezy special effects (that I thought looked decent in
black and white) and a story that left a lot to be desired.  But can any movie with Joi Lansing be all bad?  I think not.  Not to mention a couple of my favs -
Arthur Franz (Monster on the Campus) and Tom Conway (The Seventh Victim).  A nice little time waster. ]]>

			<description><![CDATA[ I picked up the solo disc from Image last year. An unusual little film. I got up a copy of the script (along with that for FIRST MAN INTO SPACE and still for
both) from Richard Gordon in the &#39;70s. It&#39;s one of the first sci-fi flicks I particularly recall seeing on TV as a kid -- particularly the deaths in
the saucer stuck with me for years.

In retrospect, my only real compaint is the talkiness and overlaid narration in spots. Sure you can see the wood grain in closeups of... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;ve wanted to see all of the films in the Monsters &amp; Madmen set, but $80 is just too, too much. Luckily, the Chicago Public Library has them all. The
two Karloffs are actually on hold for me today at the library, so after those two I&#39;ll add the sci-fi flicks. Thanks for the positive rec for the Atomic
Sub, Eurotika!

And, MONSTER ON THE CAMPUS is a not-so-guilty pleasure of mine...love it and it&#39;s simple storytelling.
