Word is now out that 88 Films, in their haste to beat everyone to market, released the film prior to some final tweaks being applied to the master.
This is odd as CO was contractually obliged to provide 88 with the exact same master. But 88 jumped ( breaking the agreement ) and now superior Blus will be available.
Not sure what improvements these are yet ( and hear they are minor ), and I did not notice anything overtly amiss on the 88 Blu....
but more info will be needed to clarify what 88 specifically denied their fans in their quest for a few more shekels.

You creamed your jeans as a kid over Barbara and Rosalba, especially their super slow but very long and tame lesbian scene ... Even as a gay man I can appreciate those ladies ... But gord they have made better films than this ... A thriller without any thrills ... A limp sex film ... A vague Venetian travelouge ... Thank god Farley Granger didn't get his kit off ... There is nearly always a reason why these films have never got a decent transfer and wider releases before ... They are stinkers ... Next we have to deal with the tedious mediocrity of Two Masks/Men for Alexa !!! ... Why !!! ... There are so many better films out there
