Somehow this slipped by me until the week before last. VCI has announced on the "Sneak Peeks" section of their website that a DVD release of Harlan Ellison and CTV's "The Starlost" is in production. A DVD set called "The Starlost: The Movies Collection" has been available from Delta Music in England since late 2006 which shows the five feature length edits of 10 of the 16 episodes produced -- which is the same as VCI's late 1980s VHS box set of the five feature length versions. So one has to presume that what we'll be seeing from VCI is another repackaging of those 5 "movie" versions, which are shown out of order and missing another six episodes which were never edited together when these movie length versions were syndicated in 1982.
