I caught it on TCM a couple weeks ago and thought it was fun.
I gotta get more into Sci-fi.

Haven't watched this in years but I do have it on DVD as part of The Fantastic Films of Ray Harryhausen - Legendary Science Fiction Series I guess it's about time I break open this set and start watching some of these classic Sci Films again from the legendary Harryhausen.
Quote:The 1950s were the Golden Age of Sci Fi films I love just about all of them from this era yes even the bad ones. |

This is a good one Luis, kinda reminded me of WAR OF THE WORLDS (another sci-fi I like)
I think I'll pick up the DVD. |

Love the 50s sci-fi films as well and try to get as many of them as possible. Watched "The Cape Canaveral Monsters" from Phil "Robot
Monster" Tucker today which also has a very 50s feel to it, though it was made in 1960.

I always enjoyed this film, and I thought it was sensational the way Harryhausen animated the debris falling from the Washington Monument, The Capitol
building, etc. Ray really showcased his mastery of simulating physics and movement of non-living objects. My favorite flying saucers in a film.
