Look at what's being discussed. And nary an executioner in sight!

Well, give me EL CONDE DRACULA any day over SCARS OF DRACULA, AD-72, or SATANIC RITES OF DRACULA. And as for HORROR OF DRACULA, it's not without it's
flaws and can't be rated as a 10. One scene in the movie that always bugs me is when Jonathan has the *perfect* opportunity to stake Dracula down in the
crypt early on in the movie, but instead decides to go over to the vampire woman (Valerie Gaunt) and stake her instead. Of course after Gaunt screams
Dracula then wakes up as the sun is going down. Why Jonathan didn't take the opportunity to do Dracula in (he even takes a second to stare at him, with stake and hammer in hand!) when he had the chance is a question I don't think will ever be answered and as much as we all love this film this particular scene must be taken as a glaring plot hole. |

He just might be. My post about Tim Lucas's blog on Lee's performance in THE MAN WHO COULD CHEAT DEATH has yet to appear. |
