I had the Splatter VHS, the pantiless girls behind was the best thing about it. I also had that Grusome Twosome VHS, in fact I sold it ebay years ago. I had
that Go Kart DVD of Bloodthirsty Butchers and The Rats Are Coming... and it was terrible, I sold that off as well.

I'm pretty sure the Bloodthirsty Butchers is bad but I love that cover art! Now.......the pantiless girls in Splatter do add A LOT to the viewing value of
the movie. I'm especially fond of the scene where the girl "fucks" the mutant to the point where his head explodes. HAHAHAHAHA!

SPLATTER - ARCHITECTS OF FEAR is awwwwwwful. I remember how they documented all the special effects, which are so laughably inept that I was doing more
realistic stuff for my home movies when I was 12 years old. The girl who gets cut up is the absolute worse, as they created this big, saggy-ass looking
splash-latex body that was the most unbelievable I have ever seen. Andy Milligans effects looked like they were created by Tom Savini in comparison. This movie
is one of those so bad it's funny type of films, but I wonder if the people working on it were in on the joke.

I started watching Bloodthirsty Butchers the other night while wrapping Mother's Day gifts..........bit of an odd viewing choice I guess but........I will
have agree with Beast's assessment that Milligans FX looked like Savini compared to the awfulness of Splatter! Still though......Splatter is good for a
laugh!

Got this one in the other day. I had never seen this on the Meteor Video label.
88 Minutes so it is cut BUT I dig that cover! One of my favorite Italian cannibal movies and what I consider Deodatos' best. |

A good magazine to read about the VHS boom and the Mom and Pop stores is Horrorhound. They have some really great articles about this wonderful time in home
video. I remember seeing many of these titles that are shown in this thread on the shelves. I rented a many of them too. I currently don't have any myself
since I gave a bunch to my former spouse. But, I wish that DVD companies would just reuse the artwork from the old VHS. Most of the DVD art that's out now
looks like crap.
