CodeRedDVD wrote:The footage on those screencap is a workprint, not the finish product that was submitted to MPAA (which didn't have the extreme footage). MPAA then told Guy to edit the film to get a R rating. Guy cut few seconds. So this German release is puzzling Guy. We contact the overseas agent and they told us they gave the overseas companies the same version that was out on VirginVision vhs. Guy don't know how this workprint got loose before they made any sales???? Guy never got any reports regarding overseas dvd either. I'll buy the dvd and hopefully they will have these missing footage.
How strange...
Dutch VHS = Extended Cut
German VHS = Standard R-Rated
German DVD = Extented Cut
Who knows where the slightly longer footage originated from? I stopped trying to figure out foreign releases of US films a long time ago!

I know what you mean Bill, most companies re-release the same old titles and only seem to bother if there's already a decent master around.
Health is also more important than dvd imo.

I had a good conversation with Dennis Lipscomb and due to his condtion he could not be on the dvd. We left several message to Kevin Yeager, and zero respond. Suzanne Snyder lives in San Francisco, so she too far away for an interview. Hoyt Axton is no longer with us, so one guy who emailed me will complaint he is not in the disc. Jeff Pomerantz turn me down for a interview for GROUP MARRIAGE (yes, I did try to do extra on that dvd) so he will not be in this either. Character actor George Murdock is dead. As these film gets older, doing extra will be impossible. BTW, anyone can burn us that overseas disc? We don't know if that dvd is legit (they do have tons of Public Domain titles) and I hate to give them business.
