I can only release what is there. Can't take a time machine and tell Guy not to chop up the film before submitting to MPAA (and when they saw it, it still got a X rated). Retribution bootlegs were popular for about a year or two in the early 90's. Crossing fingers that the print given is the full cut. Or at least the full cut before submission. Guy sat down and did a solo commentary telling us how he made the film and how scenes where shot. This insightful and trivia filled commentary will be a rollercoaster ride for all RETRIBUTION fans. It's great to hear stories from a one-man-show director in making such a studio quality film on such a limited budget! RETRIBUTION will be out on Code Red dvd around July 2012!

Yes, the scene might be longer judging by the jpeg, but the R version does have some of those features on longer overseas cut (which might be a bootleg). this person's blog do not show the other version (like the hand getting cut off which looks almost the same). Guy said "it's 7 seconds" but the people who shows the jpeg is not showing the other one to make the 7 second seems longer. I know for a fact the UK version is more cut than the US version, so maybe the person is using that version??? BTW, DaveJay at Avmaniacs saw the film in the theatres in UK. It's a no win situation. amount dvd sells these days for non-"IN" labels, I barely make enough to buy lunch at the end of the day. Because their favorite labels mostly release "re-release" or new movies. Old movies are dying in 50 or 100 pack with vhs master. Remember Anchor Bay was flooded with complaint? I had a good conversation with Dennis Lipscomb and due to his condtion he could not be on the dvd. We left several message to Kevin Yeager, and zero respond. Suzanne Snyder lives in San Francisco, so she too far away for an interview. Hoyt Axton is no longer with us, so one guy who emailed me will complaint he is not in the disc. Jeff Pomerantz turn me down for a interview for GROUP MARRIAGE (yes, I did try to do extra on that dvd) so he will not be in this either. Character actor George Murdock is dead. As these film gets older, doing extra will be impossible. BTW, anyone can burn us that overseas disc? Not going to answer that, it'll bring out the trolls to complaint (BTW, I got another Maria complaint, this time on VAMPIRE AT MIDNIGHT reversable cover!!!). Because in amazon all the seller do not ship to USA as i try to buy it and I get this... We're sorry. This item can't be shipped to your selected destination. my deadline is coming up in 4/15. Guy is emailing me to release it now. Guy tells me it's only few seconds and it was never the final cut and why get a headache looking for some overseas bootleg. I got a deadline on my contract.
