It is somewhat longer; it has been running every weekday since 1973 and is still going strong. (Well, actually, it looks set to be canceled any minute. Maybe then we will get the complete box set.)

I remember a scene where Quentin Collins was trying to get this one damsel across a rickety old bridge in a cave or something and she fell through...end of segment. I was heart broken at the time. However, I need to reacquaint myself with this show as time has not been kind to my memory. Smoke and a Coke!

I have been on a big DS kick recently and have been watching a few episodes a day on Netflix - would dearly like to own this set, but I don't see it happening.

I am thinking about ordering the Dark Shadows set, but I've never heard of importCDs before and it is a lot of money, so... On the other hand, I can't seem to place an order for the set on their website anyway (no 'add to cart' button) :-)

The packaging for regular cds and dvds/blu-rays is simply a sealed bubble-wrap around the item. No idea what they'll use for the DS set. And they put things up before they can be ordered. However their customer service is the best if anything is damaged. Recommended.

DD now has it for almost retail. Amazon sold out a week+ ago....I read there will be no more and this run was only 2500. I was thiking about it recently and decided to wait for reviews but was not anticipating the sell out factor. Well, they're out, and the shoebox sixed set is reportdedly very well packaged to survive shipping. Discs unscratched. Got my work bonus this week so the timing is as good as it could be- and I just bought one at ImportCds @ 377 plus shipping.

See you guys in a few years! lol Now MPI has decided to make more of these sets...no limited edition # or autographed postcard, but you get the rest. Meanwhile the limited sets are still available. Slightly bummed as it makes the limited sets less special... ( and MPI is high as this will only hurt the sales of their new slimline volumes they are releasing later this month ). At this rate I should wrap the series in mid June...10-11 weeks. The real downside is it's all I watch......I have a stack of unopened dvds and a growing pile of dvd-rs. I am truely loving the set.
