Maybe I've asked before, but is anyone here familiar with this series? The title makes it sound a lot like a "young readers" adventure series (in fact, the character's real name is Hero!), but it's evidently not. The only one I've read is # 3, "Tuna Is Not For Eating."
As I've said on other threads, I'm always interested in stories with "femme fatale" characters, so one thing I'm hoping to find is whether this series goes in for them very much. # 3 has a femme fatale of a sort, though she's the kind you'd see in a gritty, down-to-earth story (there's a line where the main character wonders about her personal hygiene that I definitely could've done without!), and I definitely prefer the Bond movie kind, or when it comes to books, the Destroyer book kind. But I'm wondering about female characters in other books in the series, and about the books in general. Has anyone here read them?
