The US version has alternate/different footage.
The beginning of the US version was possible re-edited.
Some murders are different/more gruesome.
I would still like to get my claws on the SWV dvd-r but they don't take international orders on their site...
I get " no shipping method available" when checking out...

I've been seriously contemplating doing an edit that would combine all three, using Video Watchdog's # 7's extensive article as a guide. I should dig it out and post a few notes here. I just wish I could find some good DVD versions of each cut.

The Real Belfagor wrote:A new master of this movie was recently prepared by the rights holders in Rome. Only the original Italian version was used, featuring a scene in which the loan shark hangs himself instead of being impaled on a sword. If TERROR CREATURES ever sees a legitimate dvd release, this is probably the version that will prevail unless someone else is willing to pick up the tab to restore the English language version.

I seem to remember reading (maybe in Horror All'Italiana ) that Pupillo filmed the softer death scenes and Zucker was responsible for the harder death scenes.
I never saw the "softer version" though.
