I've read about it for years, ususally in prefaces to discussions of THE TWO FACES OF DR. JEKYLL. I've seen stills from it, and even bought an Austrailian daybill from its original release. I've contacted British film archives about it.
Where the heck is THE UGLY DUCKLING??
It's never shown on television, I don't think it got a U.S. release, and no print is stored at any British repository.
Has anyone seen it? Anyone have a grainy, fifth-generation dupe available?
I'm not expecting anything at all from it (reviews are pretty grim), but I'd still find it fascinating...
