"Over the years, Robin Hardys companion piece to his original 1973 Wicker Man has undergone more title changes than I can possibly recall (Ive done a lot of drugs in those years). The last we heard it was called May Day, but Moviehole got word that the film has undergone another title switch but that, at last, its finally ready to get in front of cameras.
Now its called Cowboys for Christ and is set to star Christopher Lee (who starred in the original Wicker Man, you may recall) and Faye Dunaway as a couple (shes a Christian singing star, hes a Texas cowboy) who head out to Scotland for a music festival. Instead of digging on bands and smoking some herb, they realize that the show is actually just a mask for a horrific pagan ritual of sacrifice and murder. Always a bummer if thats now what you signed up for, believe me.
