The title theme from El retorno del Hombre Lobo comes from the wonderful Stelvio Cipriani score to Tentacoli. I was snooping around some of my favorite soundtrack blogs yesterday and came across a download of the score and scooped it up. Very bizarre to hear this music attached to another film and especially one as lame as Tentacles. This is a very nice score from Cipriani, who I really admire. Very light and breezy for such a film. I also found excellent scores to Soavi's Stagefright, The Omega Man, House of Frankenstein, The Wolfman, The Son of Frankenstein, ReAnimator and Bride of the ReAnimator, and a long out of print compilation album I had as a kid entitled Themes from Horror and Science Fiction Films featuring stuff from The Incredible Shrinking Man to The Mole People. The album was released in 1959 and I remember having a copy as a kid and this very cool to have once again! Some cool intro narration before each track too. Those were the days. Bill

Costed a fortune. In fact, I think I will pull Tentacoli soundtrack to listen to right now.

The POLIZIA (it was actually written for POLIZIA STA A GUARDARE) version of the track (available on the Cipriani CD included with NoShame's DEATH BOX SET) was also used in WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO OUR DAUGHTERS? Polizia Sta A Guardare theme Too Risky A Day for A Regatta theme "I just spent all morning watching a VH1 special on Gwen Stefani. I don't know what a Hollaback girl is.
