With THE WOLF MAN on the way, that might just happen (they're both Universal).

if we're talking American films, Messiah Of Evil would probably be my #1. i'd kill for a nice special edition of this underrated and very creepy flick.

Have read a lot of comments about MoE, but haven't seen it. What's the "best" version to get right now? Or, does someone have a good copy they would like to offer me in a trade...?

Quote: they all look like butt, which is why a DVD is so needed. the diamond disc probably looks the best... unless you could track down the old VHS-but then there's an EP mode VHS too, which you'd probably want to avoid. hey, Code Red! put this out on DVD and i'll mow your lawn for the entire summer! |

Quote: Reportedly, there was about twenty minutes cut out of it by the distributor before its release. "I just spent all morning watching a VH1 special on Gwen Stefani. I don't know what a Hollaback girl is. All I know is that I want her dead." -- Brian the Dog from FAMILY GUY.

Quote: do you mean the Alan Birkinshaw/Harry Alan Towers one or the Roger Corman-produced one? If its the Birkinshaw/Towers one then I'm with you on that one. It's goofy but its the best of the Towers Poe films and once you get past Frank Stallone and Brenda Vaccaro its actually beautifully shot (some great crane and steadicam moves) plus Michelle McBride is a cute protagonist (I think she only did this and the first SUBSPECIES film). Quote: Upcoming from Cult Epics. Quote: Already out from Anchor Bay with commentary. Quote: I think LionsGate put out one of the sequels. Quote: Just out on DVD on April 1st from MGM. Quote: Been on DVD from Sub Rosa since 2002. Still in print. "I just spent all morning watching a VH1 special on Gwen Stefani. I don't know what a Hollaback girl is. All I know is that I want her dead." -- Brian the Dog from FAMILY GUY.

RE: MASQUE OF THE RED DEATH (1989)
The version with the actress from SUBSPECIES. Quote: Now if BORDERS will only stock it. . Quote: I thought it went OOP? Anyway no B&M store stocks it. Of course there's R2 DVDs of all three movies. Quote: I'll check the stores again this weekend. Quote: Wasn't there a problem with the DVDs? Something about it being a cut version or something? Now for some poster art! Props to Google for helping me find a site with the posters for... ![]() What caught my attention about this poster is the fact it's so blatant in ripping off Star Wars- look it's C3PO and Boba Fett!- and Battlestar Galactica (that starfighter looks like a Colonial Viper). But what is this? It's not in any of my print references and Google hasn't been much help. According to IMDB dot com it seems that this was a porno, yet other sources seem to indicate this was a foreign sex farce. It's original title may have been La Fille la fourrure. But IMDB has a seperate entry for that!!! Anyone know anything about this flick? And then there's.... ![]() This site actually has a write up for it! Sounds like the typical bland porno drivel, yet the poster says it's rated "R". But for a list of movies probably NOT on DVD just scroll through their Sexploitation category. YOWZAH! Just spotted this.... ![]() Totally different poster. And what about this one... ![]() I think this one may still be AWOL on R1 DVD...
