But one day he cuts himself so that a few drops of blood fall on her lips, enabling her to come back to life and in ther turn she will resuscitate her father from his ashes. Yet Dracula in not the same anymore; his only aim is to find Haydee Politoff, the girl he fell in love with in the previous film. Ultimately he will be destroyed by the sunlight and his daughter is killed by Van Helsing. I wore red contact lenses and my make-up was different from the one in the first movie [COUNT DRACULA'S GREAT LOVE]." Sounds Rollinesque, doesn't it? "I have done well..."

I have a copy, but can't find it at the moment. I believe that only test footage of Naschy in the new make-up was shot with director Javier Aguirre. In another magazine, DEMONIQUE, Naschy talks about wanting to put the bits and pieces of whatever was shot together with excised scenes from COUNT DRACULA'S GREAT LOVE, and then adding some more footage. But DEMONIQUE is another magazine I can't find at the moment, so I'm relying on memory. (I guess this tells you know how uncatalogued and random my collection of magazines is!) If I find these things, I'll try to go into a little more detail. Mirek
