Posts: 11125 (05/03/08 08:06:15) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None Boards that have migrated to Yuku have reported various glitches, usually small, that errupt from time to time. I've already noticed a couple, but am waiting to see if they return. Anyway, this thread is for any glitches that you experience with Yuku. I can hand over these experiences to Yuku support in the hope that they will be dealt with. Thanks! Mirek

But I am sure the Yuku support people know about this, as it has happened on every board I have seen that was transitioned from ezboard. Nevertheless, it would be kind of them if they would put each and every one of those characters back in its proper place again.

Registered, logged in members will view your board without ads." Luis, what was your status when you saw these ads? Mirek

Mirek I was logged in at the time because otherwise I would have not been able leave several posts like I did here when I reported the ads but I don't see them now. But if I ever see them again I'll double check to make sure the screen states I'm logged in.

I always have to change my password to get on but whats odd is I keep changing it to the same password (?) This time I logged on someone elses account! I read his mail! God...Yuku SUCKS! In other words, it's not Yuku's fault, but everyone seems to feel it is. I know when the CHFB became Yuku-ized, administrator David Colton had a similar thing happen: When he logged into Yuku, Yuku came up with another account. I don't believe David tested out whether he could read that person's mail, which he should have done to see how far the security breach extended. (If memory servies, Yuku once insisted that even if you are in someone's account, you just see it, but can't open any mail.) This is not something that happens all the time, however. It seems rare, but it does happen, and Yuku has yet to offer up what sounds like a plausable explanation. Mirek

You'll be happy to know I couldn't "accidentally" log in as you, nor could I create a additional profile under the alias Latarnia to "accidentally" log into your account. So Yuku seems secure on that end. However. . When I go to my navigation menu the link I get for the board is: http://thelatarniaforums-reimport-55.yuku.com/ That's a problem. It appears to take me to an earlier version of the forum circa May 5th. I have no idea how to fix this so it shows the proper link to the board with up-to-date messages, which is found here: http://thelatarniaforums.yuku.com/ (I can get to the board by clicking my recent posts, which don't exist if I use the link provided in the navigation> communities menu.) This is somewhat alarming, as I think no program is supposed to copy stuff to the clipboard without my explicit consent.
