Ok here's one of my favorite lowbrow Horror/Comedies of the 1980's, the plot is totally insane as a liquor store owner unknowingly sells a deadly alcoholic brew named "Viper" that results in those who drink it to explode and/or melt. Despite the film shot on a shoe string budget it looks and feels extremely professional and some of that credit should go to the acting of what basically is a cast of unknowns at the time. The comedic exchange by mobster Nick Duran (Tony Darrow) and the Doorman (James Lorinz) always leaves me laughing in stitches. The special effects of exploding and melting bodies may not be the most realistic looking but are some the sickest looking stuff ever splattered on screen.
Are there any other fans of this film out there?
