VCI, which usually means so so quality, is selling this DVD for about $8.00 (incl. shipping.)
I liked the trailer...any thoughts(on this film Jojo) would be appreciated.

I liked this one. Hilton is good in it but there is way too much time spent on Edd Byrnes acrobatic stunt work. The VCI disc is 2.35:1 but non-anamorphic. Its
a nice print but it should've been 16:9. I have no idea if its uncut or not.

I've seen at least twice, and one of those times was in a theater. It's second-tier THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY. Maybe even third-tier.

Thanks Mirek...I end up with a lot of mediocre movies only because the DVD was cheap. I still might get this though.

it's Enzo, so it gets a pass from me. i like the opening scene where Django, The Man With No Name and...some other Spaggy anti-hero (Sartana?) are gunned
down.
it's colorful and entertaining, but much more in the style of American westerns than Italian |

I think this movie is very good. I recommend the Diamond Spaghetti Western Collection, which has this, as a decent wodescreen. The 5 disc one. It has quite a
few good ones, and some in very good quality, and you can find it for 10 dollars or less. I thought is was very "spaghetti" all of it. It's one
of my faves really. Anyone here keep up with what's out and what's comin', with US dvds for this genre? I have all the Blue Underground and Anchor
Bay, and the Eastwoods and Sabata Trilogy... and a bunch of "PD" stuff, but I'm trying to keep and ear out for anything new coming out.

Koukol,
Thanks. I have looked at those, and yes, there is quite a few titles I don't have. Today I picked up Dead For a Dollar. I haven't seen it before. Carl |
