Basically, it's about a group of young college actors who go to a deserted island to make a film--only to discover someone is killing them according to the S&M lyrics of a punk rock song. Director uses an eerie Bavaesque blue-tinted lighting in some scenes and quite a few inventive atmospheric killing sequences, ISLAND OF BLOOD is easily recommended to fans of low budget early eighties slasher flicks.. Impressive artwork on the vhs has a giant blue head dripping blood over the words ISLAND OF BLOOD--made out to look like a mountain. Water slushing around at the very bottom. My friggin camera is messed-up which is why I can't post up a pic of the artwork and at the moment I'm without a printer/scanner, sigh... Last Edited By: KlimovskyKat 07/11/08 14:38:52.
