Okay, here's the official word from Sergio. This November or so will start seeing the release of the following PAL DVDs, from the best elements possible. The only negative is that, due to the rights owner's insistence, there won't be English dubbing or subtitles available, but hopefully the release of these will interest someone in the United States to go for English-friendly DVDs. A couple of these have already been released on NTSC DVDs. Anyway, here's the list of films coming out: The Beast and the Magic Sword El Caminante Inquisicion La venganza de la momia El retorno de Walpurgis El ultimo kamikaze Latidos de panico La marca del hombre lobo There should also be supplements, to include poster artwork and stills. The lack of subs, while mildly disappointing, doesn't seem like such a problem these days with the fan-subbing community so active. I will definitely be buying these all! Can't wait for VENGANZA DE LA MOMIA and BESTIA ESPADA MAGICA, but I also hope that MARCA DEL HOMBRE LOBO is improved over the Shriek Show release. Awesome news! Brant

I am currently praying that these are coming from somewhere other than Spain. I'm thinking Tri Pictures, and how poor their receprtion was. Titles with covered versions would be ( correct me if I am mistaken here ) Inquisicion La venganza de la momia El retorno de Walpurgis The others, due to when they were released, should be unaffected by additional garments.

This was released after the barriers against nudity in cinema went down in Spain or right at the border of the change. (Also the old video release of this title in Spain contained nudity.) VENGANZA DE LA MOMIA.... Well, the nude version hasn't been seen by anyone, even here in the States. So unless it's discovered in the Spanish vaults, I doubt we will be seeing it. (But the scope presentation, from superior elements, should be dazzling--I hope!) EL RETORNO.... This is already available from Anchor Bay and BCI, nudity included. Mirek

Major fingers crossed for what happens with the MUMMY...it already has to best any existing option, sight unseen. And who knows, we might get lucky.....
