They would like to do a tribute this Saturday night on the show. They have the radio station, as well as an internet television station. If anyone would like to contribute anything, in the either audio or video form, let me know and I'll send it to Terry. Any ideas,etc. would definitely be appreciated. I never had the pleasure of meeting the man, though I sometimes imagined myself asking him in my very imperfect Spanish what actress Rosanna Yanni was like as a person. There were many other questions I would have liked to have asked him. My sincere condolences to his family.

I first became a fan of Mr. Naschy's work via a book by Don Glut who posted a nice tribute to Paul Naschy over at the Classic Horror Film Forum. Like the above poster, I also didn't get to meet him and there were many questions I would have liked to have asked him regarding his co-performers who were all very good--and underrated--actors. Paul Naschy will be missed.

He was my first introduction to Euro horror, and inspired me during a difficult time in my life, through the enthusiasm I felt for him and for his films. In recent years that flame was rekindled in me through his renaissance of activity. I was privileged to meet him at Fangoria 1997 and despite the language barrier he surely knew my heart went out to him. It goes out now to those he leaves behind, his family, friends, associates, and his many fans throughout the world.

Registered User Posts: 47 Dec 1 09 1:51 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I'm a fan of his work. He was one-of-a-kind. I'm sad and surprised to hear this news. (I didn't know he had cancer.) I was looking forward to more films from him. I loved his enthusiasm for the horror genre. Instead of trying to live down his status as a horror icon, he embraced it with gusto. As someone said earlier, he was a great "spokesman" for the genre, someone who bridged the divide between classic and modern, young and old, Hollywood cinema and international cinema. I was hoping I could meet him someday. Alas, it is not to be.

Just watched The Hanging Woman DVD the other night along with the extended bonus Naschy interview. He was not looking so hot but he was lucid and had much to say. I got the feeling that he was aware of his time left on Earth but I'm surprised by how short that time was. I hope he had a good ride, sure looked that way.
