I kinda wish they transformed the guy better but the girl....what a cutie!!!!! I gotta look her up on IMDB to see what else she was in. she looked familiar (maybe playboy?)

Possibly because of its enormous reputation, it did not impress me overly much. Donald Pleasence is fun in it, though, as is the brief appearance of Christopher Lee. At that point, and some others, the film threatens to turn into something by Monty Python.

Registered User Posts: 9828 Aug 29 10 3:24 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Later last night I stummbled upon a hilarious show on Spike T.V. that is sort of like MST only they use a Japanese game show called Takeshi's Castle and then add their own voice over and narrative. Watched three half hour episodes and it was hilarious stuff!!! MXC I think it is called. CEO of The Azucena Hernandez Appreciation Society of America.

I didn't mind the film although the critics seem to like it better. my main problem was with the cannibal...he looked like Ian Anderson.

The Pleasance and Lee scenes, while enjoyable, were totally out of place.

Takeshi's Castle/MXC, but serious. i watch this show like some people watch the superbowl

Reily and Stifler called The Promotion. one of those mumble-core movies about depressing losers, but pretty funny. also watched Altered States which was nothing like i expected after 29 years of people telling me how awesome it was. goofy and annoying.

I hated this film when I saw it in the theater and I guess I still hate it. I bought the 2-disc DVD last Halloween for $6.00 and thought I should watch it and see if the upcoming BD would interest me... Nope.

I like the series for what it is. Reminds me of a cajun-flavored, sexed-up version of Dark Shadows. Gotta love a good vampire soap opera, even if some of the characters are a bit annoying. Definitely not the worst television out there. www.eurosploitationdvds.com
