Bloomberg is reporting that MGM is planning to go ahead with Bond 23 after
bankruptcy processing and the Spyglass deal is finalized:

I like the idea of a new Bond film every two years.
I do hope they will be better films than the last two, literate, cheerier, more civilized, and not agenda-driven.
If MGM becomes the sole owner and funder of the Bond films, that means EON producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael J. Wilson would be moved out -- OUT ! -- of the franchise, which can only be a good and positive step, and long-over due.

New James Bond films may be released every second year starting in November 2012, MGM said. It aims to own 50 percent of Bond 23, due out that year, with an equal partner paying all of the production costs, it said.
