I hope some of these are fresh material and brighten your day. I admit to not being the biggest fan of Barbara's or her films. I don't have any excuses other than that I need to spend more time with her films, which I hope to do so in the near future. I most appreciate her from David Cronenberg's Shivers; The Parasite Murders. She was beguiling in her small role and that lesbian smooch was a classic. Enjoy...I hope. Smoke and a Coke!

Not conventionally beautiful, but as my friend and I once discussed at length, she has a bewitching sort of duality inherent in her features and expressions - innocence and sinfulness, light and dark, modern and classic, beauty and ugliness, young and old, tough and fragile. In my opinion Golden Age Italian Gothics were her best medium, because she truly looks at home in pictures like La Maschera Del Demonio. She looks very Italian. It would have been interesting to see her in Whip and the Body also, which was the original intention, but Daliah Lavi acquitted herself surprisingly well.

Specifically the scene in which Steele's infected character does the old !+$!% kissy, kissy, touchy touchy bit with one of the soon to fall heroines.
